Problems with therapy…
As a therapist consultant, I get many calls every day and emails too by practitioners who are stuck with their clients and also clients who are interestingly stuck with their therapists.
I find the answer in the first couple of sentences a client says re their problem. Most practitioners listen in too much detail to content and not enough to the clients unconscious. To resonate with a clients unconscious a therapist needs to resonate with their unconscious too. All too often the practitioner tries tool after tool from their kit bag. If you don’t know the problem how are you going to choose and then use the right tool.
Now many of you therapists have clients that get stuck and many of you clients have practitioners that get stuck. How about those that get treated are better and then revert back, or are partly stuck or believe the therapists tools are just plastic and cannot really work other than for the gurus who taught them.
